DJI has just announced their new generation of enterprise drones – the DJI Matrice 30 Series.
The Matrice 30 series has been long anticipated, and it’s safe to say DJI didn’t disappoint. Not only does the M30 series feature a new revolutionary drone, it also includes a whole host of innovative, complementary technologies.

Power, portability and reliability are the main themes behind the DJI M30. In accordance with that, DJI has created perhaps the most powerful yet compact drone on the market.
At first glance, you might think the DJI M30 looks like a combination of the M300 RTK and the Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced. There’s a reason why that’s the case – DJI has taken the best elements from both drones and integrated them into one.
Designed for ‘everyday heroes’, the M30 is built to operate in a wide range of conditions and scenarios.
It’s a game-changer in industries such as Search & Rescue, Policing, Asset Inspection, Public Service, Security & more.
On top of its impressive environmental adaptability, the DJI M30 is highly safe and reliable. There are dual-vision and ToF sensors on each side of the craft to keep the drone safe. For crystal clear transmission, four antennas support OcuSync 3 Enterprise.
The M30 also has built-in redundancy systems to keep your mission going during unexpected scenarios, should the worst occur. Beyond that, it features an impressive battery life of 41 minutes.
The DJI M30 has a 48 megapixel 1/2-inch CMOS sensor zoom camera with 5x to 16x optical and 200x digital zoom. Allowing you to capture the aerial data you need in incredible detail.
A 12-megapixel wide-angle camera with 8k photo 4K/30 fps video resolution and a laser rangefinder give the precise coordinates of objects up to 1,200 metres away.
This high-performance tech is contained within a lightweight and foldable drone that’s easy to pack up, carry, and deploy.
DJI has released an accompanying thermal equivalent – the DJI M30T. The M30T has all the same capability but adds a 640 x 512-pixel radiometric thermal camera.
DJI DOCK
The DJI Dock is a new way of using drones in places where it would have been previously impossible.
The DJI Dock houses the M30, where it lands, takes off and is protected from the elements. It features IP55 protection and an operating temperature between -30℃ to 50℃.
The dock also keeps the M30 charged so it can autonomously run BVLOS missions in highly remote, hard to reach locations. Thanks to TEC air conditioning, which cools the drone batteries, a 10% – 90% charge only takes 25 minutes.
The DJI dock is rugged and reliable and can operate 24/7, whatever the weather. Combined with FlightHub 2, you can schedule missions, edit flight routes and manage data.
DJI RC PLUS
A rugged drone requires a rugged controller, and DJI has created that with the RC plus.
Just like the other accessories in the M30 series, this controller is built to operate in harsh environments. As such, it has a whole bunch of incredible features.
It has a 7-inch widescreen display for full visibility. To ensure the video transmission displayed on the screen is stable, the controller features four antenna OcuSync 3 Enterprise. When you attach a DJI Cellular Module, it enables 4G network connectivity to supplement OcuSync 3 Enterprise.
In terms of environmental adaptability, this controller is incredibly robust. The battery configuration powers 6 hours of battery life and enables seamless, hot-swapping operations.
It has IP54 protection, meaning it is both dustproof and waterproof. It’s also fully functional in hot and cold climates, from -30℃ to 50℃.
DJI BS30 Intelligent Battery Station
The BS30 Intelligent Battery Station is a small, portable charging solution to help you meet your mission needs. It can charge four pairs of TB30 intelligent flight batteries and one pair of RC batteries. One pair takes just 30 minutes to charge from 20 – 90% battery life.
Each individual intelligent TB30 flight battery is hot-swappable for a fast turn-around. Sticking with the M30 series theme of environmental adaptability, each battery supports self-heating to function in cold environments.
